Residencies, guest spots and collaborations at MT Tattoo Collective.

A Studio Built Around Its Artists

MT Tattoo Collective is a Denver studio where artists working in very different styles share the same floor. Color and neon realism, black and grey, fine line, illustrative blackwork, Japanese inspired work and animation. That mix is deliberate. It keeps the work sharp and it gives every client a reason to walk through the door.

We are on 450 Lincoln St in Denver, with resident artists, resident guests and visiting artists rotating through the space. You can see who works here on the artists page.

If you tattoo and you are looking for a place to work, this is where that conversation starts.

Three Ways to Work Here

Whichever one fits, the conversation starts the same way.

01

Resident Artist

A permanent spot in the studio, your own profile page on this site, and your name in the booking form so clients can request you directly.

02

Resident Guest

A recurring presence at the studio without a permanent chair. You come back regularly and we announce your dates ahead of time.

03

Guest Spot

A short season with us. We promote your dates in advance so your books start filling before you land in Denver.

What You Get Here

  • A station that is ready to work. The studio is set up and running. You are not building a space, you are sitting down in one.
  • Clients arriving on their own. The site, Google and the studio bring people in every week, on top of whatever you bring with you.
  • Your work published. Portfolio on the site and rotation through the studio channels.
  • Artists who do not do what you do. Different styles in the same room is where collaborations come from.
  • Booking that routes to you. Clients pick their artist in the form, and the request goes to the right person.

Who We Are Looking For

A consistent portfolio, in whatever style you work in. We care more about how solid the work is than about which lane it sits in.

Enough experience to run your own sessions and handle your own clients from consultation to healed result.

And someone who actually wants to be around other artists. That is what a collective is for, and it is the part that does not show up in a portfolio.

Send us your work and what you are looking for. Everything goes straight to the studio.

Working Here: FAQ

A resident artist has a permanent spot in the studio, a profile page on this site and their name in the booking form. A resident guest comes back regularly without holding a permanent chair, and we announce the dates each time. A guest spot is a short season with us, promoted in advance so the books fill before the artist arrives.
It is discussed case by case. Artists work in different ways and at different stages, so we would rather have that conversation with you directly than publish one arrangement that fits nobody. Apply and we will talk through it.
Yes. Guest spots exist for exactly that, and several of the artists who have worked here came from outside the state. Tell us where you are based and which dates you are considering.
A portfolio link is enough to start. Instagram, a website, whatever shows your work best. If you would rather attach images directly, the form takes uploads.
Your application lands in the studio inbox with your portfolio link and everything you filled in. We reply by email, so keep an eye on the address you gave us.
